Day One – Travel through the Sonoran Desert to the red rock country of Sedona, known for its fantastic art galleries and colorful scenery. After leaving your first panoramic overlook, you’ll have the afternoon free for browsing or an optional back country jeep tour. You’ll find lots to see and do. Overnight Kings Ransom Hotel or equivalent in Sedona.
Day Two – All aboard! Early morning, depart for Williams, Arizona and board the historic Grand Canyon Railroad for a one-way journey through time. Travel through the scenic beauty of Arizona’s high country, as horse-backed robbers accost the train. Upon arrival at Grand Canyon National Park, step up for your first breathtaking view of this Wonder of the World. There is ample time to explore, enjoy outstanding Canyon views as the light changes throughout the day or shop in the local Canyon Village gift stores. Return to Phoenix mid to late evening.
